Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Unlock Faith mobile app and the faithunlock.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Unlock Faith helps you build a daily prayer habit. Once a day it can lock apps you choose (using Apple's Screen Time framework, with your permission) and unlock them after you complete a prayer. Prayers are personalized to the tone, length, and themes you select.

2. Your account and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the device and Apple ID you use with the Service and for keeping them secure.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

• Parts of the Service require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Use "Restore purchase" in the app to recover an existing subscription on a new device.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their App Store terms; we cannot issue them directly, but email us and we'll help where we can.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the Service;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

5. Spiritual content

Prayers and reflections in the app are devotional content intended to support your faith life. They are not professional, medical, mental health, financial, or legal advice, and are not a substitute for guidance from a pastor, counselor, or qualified professional.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Scripture quotations remain subject to the copyright notices of their respective translations.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that app blocking will function in every circumstance (for example, if Screen Time permission is revoked or restricted by the operating system).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Sections 6–8 survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
